Low Man Wins

Growing up playing football, I constantly heard coaches from youth to the pros scream over and over Low Man Wins!” Low Man Wins means that if you get lower than your opponent you would put yourself in the best position, you would have leverage. By positioning yourself lower than your opponent you put yourself in a position to be successful, a position to win. I have found that to be true on the field as well as in life. Each time I played “high” I was out of position and consistently lost that battle. Much like life, the more I make it about me, served my needs I have found this to be a losing proposition. Conversely each time I have served others, put others needs above my own, I’ve learned I can never lose. A life of sacrificially serving others, puts you in a winning position that leads to a life of significance!

Low Man Wins exists to inspire people to live their lives with a passion to serve others rather than themselves. Most people desire to live a life filled with purpose. The principles embodied in Low Man Wins are the gateway to this life. Leverage is an amazing thing, you can take a small seemingly insignificant object and place it under a much larger object. With the proper pressure applied you can lift something many times larger. How do we live a life that lifts and inspire others to do great things? You do so by serving...Service leads to a life of significance!

This journey begins with a clear vision of what what it means to be successful, more importantly what it means to be significant. To do so we have to redefine what success means and what significance is. Success reflects the achievements in a lifetime, Significance is the impact your influence has on others. Low Man Wins goal is to define one’s purpose, redefine success and move you towards a life of significance!

Our Vision

The Vision of Low Man Wins is to see people and organizations leverage thier influence for impact. To fulfill their purpose by not focusing on themselves? Rather shifting their focus on the needs of others, your team, organization, community, family and YOU will reach heights you would not achieved otherwise. Your  impact on others will lead to the ultimate goal, a life of purpose and significance!

Low Man Wins - Key Principles

Vision:
Fix your eyes

It begins with Clarity!  Clarity of Vision is the key factor in personal and organizational success. In sports terms you have to fix your eyes in the right direction, where the eyes go the head and body follow.  Vision is a preferred picture of the future that puts you and others on mission for a cause greater than ourselves!

Service:
bend your knees

Your posture determines your power!  Blocking and Tackling are the basics in football and leverage is the key to winning. People and organizations that practice a posture of serving others by sacrificially putting their needs above their own achieve greatness.  If you want to be great? You must become a servant.

Action:
bring your feet

Vision and position are set so at the point of impact don't stop your feet!  Every great vision has opposition so your vision needs intentional action. Two keys to victory are faith and hard work, belief in one another and working together for a cause bigger than ourselves. Don't stop your feet, don't ever give up.

Stay Humble.
Stay Fierce.
